I am upgrading a 4s to iOS7 using the sync cable and Windows.  The upgrade process seemed to go fine but now (in what I assume is the last step) the phone seems to be frozen.  The apple logo is on the screen and a progress bar is below it.  The bar appears to be at or close to 100% complete but

it has sat like this for over an hour.  The phone is not showing up in iTunes and is still plugged in with the sync cable.

What should I do?  unplug?  power off?  I'm scared to do so because I don't want to brick the phone since it is apparently still in the upgrade phase...
